Hello,
when i turn the computer on i get a folder icon with a question mark in it i had checked the hard disk and it is fine, i was just wondering is there something else i should try or should i just replace the logic board?

Did you try rebooting while pressing the trackpad? This should give you a list of available hard-disks.... If it doesn't... Then it should be a hard-disk problem...
