Hello,
All you have to do is to remove sim card and use another phone to confirm if the sim card is bad or not , if the sim card works on the other phone, then your sim tray that is the one that holds the sim cards and having the sim to contact on the panel board of the phone is bad, you have to contact a skilled personnel to handle it , because it involve opening the phone.
