E10 error code? - Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000ES Front Load Washer

  • tcolgrove May 02, 2008

I've started having the same problem. My front load washer is just about 2 years old, and suddenly when I use the "heavy" or "normal" wash cycle...I get the E10 message. Once I drain and spin again, it is fine...what is going on?

  • Anonymous Nov 18, 2008

I am getting same E10 error code. Saw solution but it was for models with dials vs digital. This is a real pain because I have to monitor each load and try to start again. Sometimes if I just change spin to medium vs fast it corrects itself for a couple of minutes then same E10 code is displayed. HELP! Thanks!

We had the E10 error code. I took off the water intake hose as the washer and the screen there was full of sand from our well. I cleaned the screen out and the code disappeared.

I do Have the same issue error 10, I take the cold water off the inlet tube to the washing machine, I then clean the screen using light force air then replace the hose turn the water back on, this works for about a month or a bit longer, All though just about at the point to take the machine apart and do some investigating

I don't know much at all about repairs, but think it has something to do with the water coming thru hose to machine and what wash temp you select. (Service person I spoke with had no idea what E10 meant). We have a water 'purifier' gizmo that uses cold water hose and it was disconnected for repair. BUT I was still trying to do wash using cold wash-cold rinse. No longer have problem.

E10 error code. What does that mean?

All depends.

All question need 'make model (what it is)'. Otherwise it is a guessing game. Question was in Audio Players, so moved to Misc.

E10 - Water supply is slow or insufficient. This error will be displayed when the unit senses that the water supply is insufficient and is taking too long to fill the tub with water.

I have a Canon SX 30is. When I press the power button, I get an E10 error message, and then the camera never turns on. How do I fix this?

Unfortunately, canon tends to use the same error codes across models...particularly the E10 error code which indicates a JPEG IC error. Basically, the image processor has just given up. I don't know of a way to fix it other than to completely dissect the camera and replace the entire board. Definitely not the news I wanted to deliver but I've seen that error on three separate cameras, and opening up the firmware files for each indicated E10 as being the same error. Any chance its still under warranty?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope that helps!

I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer with E10 error code

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.

E10 error code

I had this problem, the washer/dryer stopped working while in the drying cycle and displayed e10 message. It was caused by a faulty three-way inlet valve. The solenoid controlling flow to dryer condenser proved to be open circuit. Pulled washer out from under counter top, unplugged, removed top cover, tested solenoid circuits with ohm meter and found one solenoid was faulty. The filter going into the unit was clear. Replaced whole three way component with one ordered on Internet and all now works fine. Noticed that during drying cycle, water to condenser is constantly being switched on and off, explaining why the green condenser solenoid is the one that wears out first.
