Internet Explore Script Error

Please be aware that Internet Explorer plays a very important role in Yahoo Messenger. For this reason you must keep it up to date even if you have another browser as default. Running Messenger 10 you should have IE 8
1) Update your IE
3)Visit Microsoft support and check out script errors

Finally you need to keep your browser(s) clean
Download 'ccleaner' and use it daily. Run it through a couple of times,using the factory settings and the 'Run Cleaner' control until 0 bytes are seen to be cleaned following a scan
Run the 'Registry' from the left hand toolbar but 'Save' any changes after opting to 'repair' errors.Never make changes to your Registry without saving the information.

This means that you need to remove the older version of your YM. You need to do a clean uninstall of the old YM version, restart pc, then reinstall YM v10. If first option wont work it means there are corrupted files in your registry. You need to go to START, RUN, type regedit then click ok or press enter. Under the folders HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE expand SOFTWARE and then delete all the YAHOO folders then restart pc, then resinstall YM v10. If both options fail then you need to back up your data then be ready for an Operating System Re-installation. Have a good day! =)
