Need more information to troubleshoot, filmm ? what do you mean, assuming power (charged battery or power adapter) is added to camera, assuming camera is in the proper mode, depending on cpu/ram power of the pc it might take time for the PC to load all of the camera's drivers before you can see any activity, that goes for any peripheral device, if there are too many programs running, it will affect latency activity...
