How do I turn it on

IT seems to be on, but won't print. When I open it to see what is ready, it is ready. I have cancelled the print queue and after 10 minutes a short print job is still showing up. How do I delete what I sent to the printer and start over?

Click on Start button
Click on Run
Type SERVICES.MSC and click ok
look for Print Spooler in the list
highlight Print Spooler,
Click on STOP button then click on START
close the window and check if the print queue is gone.

Alternate method,

Click STart
Click RUN
Type Cmd ( or COMMAND ) and hit enter
In the black window type
NET STOP SPOOLER ( hit enter button )
Type
NET START SPOOLER ( hit enter button )

Repeat the Stop and START Command 4-5 times
End the Command with NET START SPOOLER

Open Printers and faxes folder - Refresh the Window - the printer will show STatus ready with 0 document
