I need to obtain my free traffic subscription code for my nuvi 265wt. It told me to go to www.garmin.com/fmtraffic to obtain a traffic subscription code. It said that the website will ask me to enter the Unit ID of my FM traffic receiver but I can't seem to find where to go to do that. Can you help me?
In Canada it should subscribe automatically without any need to put a code in. It has to be connected by the adapter through your car's lighter, a small icon of two cars will appear near the top left corner of your map, and with it you can change to the traffic map.
When the icon is green you are in the area covered by the free traffic service.
