My CM24P1 is suddenly repeating the error message, too much coffee.
There is not any more coffee than there ever was in the coffee bean container. I have temporarily fixed the problem by completely emptying the container but the solution doesn't last long. Every 4 cups or so I'm getting this message.
Any ideas on what my next move should be?

Let me know how the Miele does. A chef friend of mine said to me when I complained about the Dacor, "I'm not suprised, what does Dacor know about coffee? You should have gone Italian." Duh, what was I thinking? Anyway, do you ever have problems with weak coffee being dispensed after the machine has been on for a while? I can't get the %*&^#$* thing to make consistantly good strong coffee.I think I'll just stick to my Alessi Nespresso machine and the old standby french press. The Dacor causes me too much stress!
I've been through this with my Dacor coffee machine. I believe there is NO fix! Dacor replaced my entire plunger assembly and now it keeps sticking. The too much coffee error has gone but now I'm getting a persistent group error because of it getting stuck. I agree with "lilyfish" I wouldn't have purchased it either and to boot they have stopped making coffee machines!!! I'm looking at a Miele now.

I've had the same problem a couple of times. I just open the machine, move the beans around a little and that seems to fix the message. If I had known how "high maintenance" this machine was, I would never have purchased it.
