I have a garage heater and the megnetic switch chatters i have tryed cleaning it but i think it needs to be replaced.the model # 3E033 A, watts 7,500, phase 1, amps 35, moter amps .50, moter volts 240, heater volts 240. i need help if you can give me a location that will sell me the part in my area or any one who will sell me the part it will help thanks
You didn't give a location, so I cant offer someone to help. I do know that the magnetic switch, otherwise known as a contactor, chatters because its not getting enough voltage at the control coil. It should have a label listing the coil voltage on it, check the power source and go from there.
