Its a common problem. All you have to do is to restart the Print Spooler service and delete the print queue. To restart the service follow the steps: Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. Now find service named "Print Spooler" and right click over it and select "Restart" to restart the service.
Now open the "Printers and Faxes" folder and try to delete the print queue. Now you will be able to delete the print queue. If applicable you can follow the steps once again if any print queue refuse to get deleted.
Once the print queue is empty, you can print from your printer smoothly.
Cheers!

With Windows, sometimes you have to force the deletion of the item. Open a command prompt window (with Vista or Win7, Start>All Programs> Accessories > Right click on Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator) In that window type "net stop spooler" <enter key> without the quotes. On the next line type "net start spooler" <enter key> again without the quotes. Restart the computer. To reset the printer itself, unplug the USB cable from both the computer and the printer and disconnect the printer power cable for a minute; then reconnect everything.

I hope this helps.
