Well, you must provide more information, for example WHAT MESSAGE you are gettin in that windows installation.
Things I need to know:
1. Are u installing WinXP for the firs time?
2. Are u using a NEW HD?
3. Is that HD SATA type? or SATA2?
4. do you know what partition and formatting is?
I will help you if you provide me that information. For now I will assume the following and tell you what to do in that supposed case:
you get a message that tells you tha you have no Hard Disk or that system cannot detect any HDs... If thats so and you are using a SATA Hard Disk it surely means that your motherboard does not offer automatic driving for SATA so you will need to load the driver for that SATA HD from a CD or a Floppy that must come with your motherboard... I you dont have this you can download the driver from Internet... If your HD is IDE, NON SATA you have a different problem so Please let me know, I will be waiting for more precise information.

Are you using some weird multimedia keyboard, like one with the internet shortcut buttons, etc?
