We need to know how many bits our Presario C700 has on it?
Bits?
You might mean Bytes. Bit means Binary Digit - either a 0 or 1 - the most basic language of a computer, and not very meaningful to most people.
But, 8 bits make a byte; a million bytes makes a megabyte; and a billion bytes makes a gigabyte...which is probably what you're looking for.
Are you wondering how many bytes of RAM memory you have, or how many bytes of space are on your hard drive?
You can find out how much RAM you have by right-clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop, then left clicking on Properties. The General tab should show how much RAM you have.
Close that.
Then, double-click on my computer; right-click on your hard drive (should be (C:); and left-click on Properties. Where it says "Capacity" it will show how big your hard drive is.
If the computer is less than a few years old, both values should be in gigabytes.
