The manual I find is no use either. The self timer button is on the back, the lowest button of all. The manual says you can set it to 2 seconds, 10 seconds or 10+2 seconds. But not how to use it. Try pressing this button and see if the rear display changes to different times. Then press the shutter button to try it out.
