I replaced the fusing unit in my ap3800c today but am now getting an error message "replace fusing unit type c" which has also locked the machine. I am unable to get into the maintenance menu either so cannot reset the fuser that way. I understand there is a way to do this manually by opening up the fuser. Can anyone talk me through this?
Can you put the old fuser back, just to see if the message clears.
