Lost a mouse USB plugin. Can I buy a replacement?

Not sure exactly what you mean by 'Mouse USB plugin'.
If you mean the port-hub, it depends on how it's connected to the computer motherboard.
[1]:
A plug-in USB or port-hub mounts on the rear or front panel of the case, with one or more short cables connecting via Molex plugs to the motherboard.
That can be replaced, available from most computer stores.
[2]:
The ports are integrated, ie soldered directly onto the motherboard.
Not renewable, except maybe by a PC repair shop technician, who will probably tell you it is "beyond economical repair" or may renew it at high cost.

I plugged the wrong USB cord into my camera. What is most likely to be broken, the USB cord plugin or the camera plugin?

USB cables are standardized. If the ends fit the openings, the cable will work. There is one exception, certain USB cables are used to recharge batteries. These are missing the 2 communication wires. Unless something is physically broken, or the cable was jammed into the opening with great force, just try another cable.

Garmin 265 wt is charging via USB cable. It will not connect to the garmin website.

Hello,

The Garmin Communicator Plugin needs to be installed on your computer.
http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator

Also check to be sure that the data cable is the correct one.
When connect between the nuvi and the computer, the nuvi should show that it is in mass storage mode by displaying a computer on the screen.

The correct cable is Garmin part number 010-10723-01.

How is the power to the monitor supplied? via the computer or via an electrcally plug - I don't see were the connection is on the monitor

The monitor should have come with two cords. One the power cable which will have an electrical plug on one end that is plugged into a wall jack and the other should be one like this. The other end of the electrical plug should plugin somewhere on the bottom of the monitor.

There is another cable that looks like this which is known as a vga cable. Your monitor may take a DVI connector which has a white end and is a larger plug. This will plugin to the monitor and will also plugin to your computer. The place it plugs into the monitor should also be on the bottom of the monitor.

These cables will only fit in one way so you really can't mess anything up. Also the cable between the monitor and the tower are interchangeable it doesn't matter which side you plugin either way will work.

Some one give me this DVD burner Sony DRU-540A ..would it use IDE or Sata...It did not come with any cable...what cable i need to get?

If you look on the back of the burner, you will notice either a slot with 39 pins or a small black like plugin. The 39 pins would be for an IDE plug, and the little black pin would be for a sata cable. Simply go to the nearest Radio Shack, Best Buy, or computer hardware store and get the appropriate internal cable. Just advise the store attendant in that area to advise you were such cable is.

These are very simply to plug in, simply plug in to the back of the cd-rom, and plug into the motherboard with a similar plugin on the motherboard. Make sure the plugin on the motherboard states it is Sata, on the motherboard it will have something printed near it with Sata1 Sata2 or something similar. Put the CD-ROM in the closest bay, and plug in appropriately.

No sound, where is the plugin for speakers on monitor?

From what I am reading, your monitor comes with speakers.
If it does, there should be an 1/8th inch stereo cable, with green ends, that will connect the monitor to the computer. The computer should have a green colored port on the back of it for you to plug the other end of the cable into.

No sound - looks like I need some sort of cable as the blue plugin in the back is the same as blue plugin in back of computer?

Yes, if your monitor has built in speakers, you will still need a cable running from your computer to your monitor.
