Where can I find some tutorials on the programs on my computer- hard to use them when you are not sure how to

Actually, there is no concrete tutorial for the programs installed in your computer which I believe, the ASUS EE PC. At hand, you can just run then and press the F1 key for context sensitive help. Or you can simply click and browse the HELP menu in your program and get basic help in it.

Most programs have built-in help available, and that's always a good place to start. The standard for applications (most of them follow it) is for the last choice on the toolbar at the top to be "help". Click there and you'll usually find something to get you started, even if it's only a link to online help.

Google or another Web search engine is another handy resource. Search for "getting started" or "basics" and the program name. You'll probably get a bunch of hits.
