Printer not Recognised

Hi,

Depending on your Operating System, the problem may be due to or you may need to:
1. check if in the printer properties, the port setting is set to USB;
2. If you are using Windows Vista, you may need to initially resolve the USB errors before moving on to making your printer work. This is a known Vista issue and Microsoft has issued a patch/update to resolve this problem. Pls try here or here.
3. update the USB drivers of your motherboard from the manufacturer's website rather than that of Microsoft;
4. uninstall and re-install including the USB controllers and not only the printer.
