To use Java on your computer, you first need to install it. After installation it will run whenever a program requires it to.

Click here to visit the Java website. You'll find the download link.

Canon ImagePress C1 cannot calibrate from Windows 7

The problem is it doesn't recognize Java 7. Install Java 6 (latest version) and it will work. You can have both Java 6 and 7 installed at the same time. As well make sure if you are running a 64bit machine you install the 32bit version of Java (so you will have 4 versions installed). Java 7 32 & 64 bit, Java 6 32 & 64 bit. I had the same issue and solved it this way.

Java not loading it is saying not found

You need to have downloaded the latest Java Development Kit: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk-6u25-download-346242.html

Then once its installed open the command line (type cmd into the search bar and hit enter). Type java and hit enter into the command line and it should come up with commands to do regarding Java. If so then it has found it.

Uninstall and reinstall if you have already done this as sometimes the 'CLASSPATH' becomes faulty. If it still didn't work right-click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Environment Variables and look for a variable called 'CLASSPATH'. If it isn't there you need to add a new one and point it to where you installed Java.

PrintMaster 2011 Platinum <3.0.70> encountered

Hello, I had the same issue, I found this article http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/kb.aspx?kb_id=1250&product_id=2643 It pretty much says that your regional setting is not set to English United States. Changing that will resolve the issue. Under Control Panel > Regional Settings.

Hi I am trying to play a card game on pogo.com and it is saying Java not found. I also tried another site to play a different game and the same thing happened. I did have java installed so I un-installed...

You might check the microsoft website to see if there are any updates which would correct the java problem. I had this happen a while back. It turned out it was something Microsoft had done in an update, that they had to correct.

My Pogo Games are blocked. I am getting a page which says "Java Not Found or Not Working. Today I installed a Java which was coming up on top the Pogo fames list. I found out I already have a Java...

It should appear in the Add/ Remove Programs listing, to access this click:
Start -> (Settings -> ) Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs

You can search for Java in the listing and remove it.

Cant get a game to load

YOU HAVE A Choice of using 4 kinds of Javas 1. the default Java,2. SunJava, 3. unsigned version of the default Java. 4. Microsoft Java. I have also found this problem., it happens after you rebooted your computer after installing 6u1 version of java.

To fix this go to your controll panel>Add or Remove programs then look for java, you should have two different versions there, 5u11 and 6u1 uninstall 6u1 and reboot you computer.

Hope this helps.
