Problem regarding usb booting

I have asrock p4i45gv R5 motherboard. i want USB booting option in booting priority . because with present bios setup i get only following option inside booting priorities,

  • floopy drive
  • cd/dvd
  • IDE hdd
i wanted to boot my system with USB hard drive or with USB pen drive.
plz help me out to solve this problem as i can't afford to buy new motherboard.

I have the same problem.

it gives disk read error.

The hard drive registered in the standard cmos utility is the only one that could be registered for boot in advanced cmos setup and no other, if your usb hard drive and pen drive could be registered in the advanced cmos setup - where boot options are registered, surely it will boot your pc.
