When you do a right click on your drive c:\ do you notice an AUTOPLAY option in the menu???? if there is...you might have a virus....try to update and run your antivirus....NOD32 is good at those kind of viruses....

hope this helps...

you did not mention if there is an autoplay in the popup menu when you do the right click....

assuming there is and as you said you've removed the virus....

autoplay in the drive exist if a program creates an autorun.inf for them to run when the drive is doulblecliked...this behavior is known to be used by trojan and worm viruses...but some games also do this....but not in your case...

you can get this kind of viruses from removable drives like flashdrives....which you might have used in other PC's that has it...

    anyways....

you could try replacing the autorun.inf....

open notepad and save it as autorun.inf copy this file and paste it to your drive c: when promted to replace autorun.inf click YES then restart your computer...

get back to me if this doesn't fix it...

    ^_^
