I was having trouble printing black , appeared heads were clogged. Did a couple of cleanings using first alcohol then windex. Black quit altogether but could get a color print OK. Got a new print head and now cannot print either black or color. Even after head cleanings. There is ink in the print head well but not obvious on the paper side of the print head????
I have the same problem with a a recertified mp61. Called canon tech, went through 5 normal cleans, 3 deap cleans, still nothing printed. You can tell ink was being sucked in but the bottom of the head where ink comes out looks clean. Was rushed ordered a new print head. Went through the same cleaning steps, still nothing. I will have to call support again. There seems to be a serious flaw in some of these printers.

same problem with a mp610, called canon tech, went though 5 normal nozzle cleanins, 3 deep cleanings, still nothing printed. Was sent a new print head. Went through same cleanings, still nothing printed. Ink appears to be sucked in, but bottom of print head appears clean.I will have to call canon tech again.
