Really do not understand why my lexmark x3480 has lost its driver, also I can not use the ocr as its saying there is not one!!

I have only used it a few times, but when I REALLY need it for work stuff it fails me, have been trying for 2 days to fix it, unistalling then re installing, have disc as its only 5 months old, please can anyone help me?
