Replace the oven sensor 174459. Depending on when this oven was built, there was a change to the sensor to inprove the overall baking results. That is from the Gaggenau bulliten for this unit. You will have to pull the oven to replace it. It is the small tube sticking out the back, If if remember, right of the oven. It could be the left side, in the corner. Sorry but been awhile since I worked on one of these ovens.

digital temperature usually starts at 100 degrees. Now starts at ~158. Actual temperature is a lot lower than the digital display shows.
