The instructions say before getting started and to avoid installation problems, please install the PC Camera software before connecting the pc camera to your pc or running the installation cd. I did not get the pc camera software with my camera and am not able to download. Where can I get the software???

I have two cameras like the phillips, both idenical, one came with cd and another didn't. The one that didnt for some reason yahoo messenger does not read it but AIM does. The one with the cd , you have to sometimes keep installing the driver when you disconnect the cam from the usb serial port too many times. I do have the cd. I rather invest in another cam, phillips is generic.
I HAD MY CAMAERA INSTALLET BUT SUDDENLLY ONEE DAY IT STOP TO BE SEEN AND NOW IT SATS THAT THE CAMAREA IT'S NOT INSTALLED. IT DOESEN'T READ THE CAMERA.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Camera Software
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
