Is the internet working on the router? You will want to troubleshoot to isolate the problem. It is best anytime when setting up new internet to turn off all firewall when having issues. What type of internet do you have? Have you connected with a wired connection directly to the router to see if the internet works that way? also you will want to check the lights on the router and modem. Make sure they are lit correctly. Once I have more information I can assist you further.

The internet is working, I am on my wireless laptop right now. Its a cable modem through the cable provider. I have my xbox plugged in and it works as well. The problem seems to be isolated to my desktop only. I turned the firewall off and it still will not open a page up on the internet explorer.
