Pixel damage My 4 yr. old daughter threw a wii remote at the tv and now there are "stuck" pixels of blue, red and green. You can see the point of impact and it almost looks as though the glass has shattered, but it hasn't. It's just these "stuck" pixels. Anything I can do? thanks. Joanna Chrystal

I am having problems with my tv as well. I took it off the tv stand mount and had it leaning on my knee and now there is a huge spider crack in the picture. The screen seems to be fine and there is still sound. How do I go about fixing this?

Download pixel fixer if its a computer

For a tv, take it to a tv repairman and he has a version of pixel fixer that works for flatscreens

Dont do it yourself if its not a windows or mac, those are the only platforms that are user friendly enough to attempt a "handyman" pixel fix

Keep in mind most pixels cant be fixed so the repair guy will probably just turn those off, dont worry though you cant see a "black dot" where the pixel is turned off, its too small for that

Running a video that quickly forces pixels to change colors MIGHT fix you blue and red pixels as those are stuck on one color but the white pixel is what's called a dead pixel. Any white or Black pixels are dead and there's nothing you can do about it.

any red, green or blue pixels are simply jammed and you MIGHT be able to fix those ... maybe.

Those small pixels are now damaged not much u can do with it. Some people say you can press on the screen the pixels affected and possiblilty get them to make contact and light back up ( I honestly highly doubt it) If u can live with and not very distracting keep watching it. But if you want to order a replacement, more than likely it will cost more than the TV did when u bought it. If its still under warranty get it replaced if possible.

SOURCE: Broken screen

if it is limited to external glass the glass can be ordered separately but if there is internal crack on pdp itself would have to replace pdp. from my experience generally if it limited to crack on external glass there still should be picture so there may be additional damage to plasma display itself

Ghost image and snowy colorful pixelation with vertical black bars? You can try a hard reset by unplugging the unit completely for 4 hours. However you may have a prob with the YSUS and the YBU-L (YBuffer Upper-Lower.) Perhaps even the Logic Main may be defective. If you are still under warranty take it to a service center ASAP. If not Get out your Voltometer. You can email me for some help...
