My 2002 vintage RL70 system had continual "no fix" or "lost fix" messages through 2006 and 2007 seasons. Raymarine rep suggested replacing the 120 GPS receiver with the 125 receiver. I did this past winter and the problem disappeared. The 125 receiver is better technology....not one "lost fix" since replacement.

Have u checked with the antenna terminals... i suggest u to remove antenna contacts clean them using WD-40 for best and put them back.. Hoping to hear form u ..

Try removing your chart card then powering up your unit. Chances are your chart could be bad and is causing the problem.

Due to the Technical nature of this equipment Garmin do not publish a list of Error Codes as these are solely for the Garmin Service Engineers.
You could try opening it and checking for any bad connections but if you can't find any faults and have to send it back to Garmin they could increase the service charge if they are aware you've opened it.
