SOURCE: Error E000001 -0010

The error code is for the fixing assy not getting to the correct temperature in a specified time. The 0010 part of the code is indicating the copier was turned off and back on without resetting the error. To reset the code, Press the additional function button, then the numbers 2 and 8 at the same time and then the additional function key again. The display will now be indicating the service options available. Touch COPIER, then FUNCTION at the top of the display, the CLEAR in the middle, then ERR, then OK. Power down copier at the right side rear, then turn back on. If the error comes back then you will have to check the fuser assy to see if the front drive gear has failed or one of the thermistors has gone bad. Good luck

SOURCE: error code e000001-0010

ok... you have a fuser problem... possibly... two fusers with same error tells me you don't just have a fuser problem... you have a power problem... you need to get a powerline filter for the unit if there are any power fluctuations this will fix it... if this happens again after that... then get a surge protector that you can run your network cables and phone cables through... if this still happens then you need to check the voltage at the wall outlet... possibly with an ac voltage analyzer and if thats ok... then you need to replace the main power board on your copier... and if its still doing that high voltage board... still doing that then main board...

SOURCE: What is error code E000001-0004 and E000001-0010

This error code is a sensor in the side where paper jams usually occur open the door and look for a small sensor in black plastic, it will probably be not located properly these are known for dislodeging, Canon engineers simply glue them back in, switch off the power beofre doing this and when you switch back on it should load ok.

there is a good possibility that the main thermistor and the sub thermistor has gone bad or is dirty. also it might need adjusted to be better placed next to the upper fixing roller
