When we send any document to printer from a computer , the print goes to the machine memory and the printer queue goes empty but machine cannot print the document , even not show any error or response. can anyone help me.
I have the same problem. Communication computer-printer is correctly set on SCSI controller. If I send calibration command with computer to printer, all is OK -- heads are moving and printing calibration pattern (as well as I do it with control panel of printer). But when I send command printing test page or another document, printer receive data, heads are moving, but no ink is visible -- I see only a white sheet of paper. Has onyone a idea, how solve this problem?I have the same problem. Communication computer-printer is correctly set on SCSI controller. I have the Canon BJ W9000. I am trying to install it as a standalone unit, meaning print from computer to printer without being on a network (I don't have it on a network although I could set one up if I have to). I obtained the drivers from canon.com. I have the w20 fiery rip. I can print a test page from the w20 to the printer and it prints well. However, when I send the print from my computer to the fiery so it could print at the printer, it fails. Canon told me that the computer connects to the fiery via parallel or scsi so I tried parallel because it's cheaper - although it's slower. I wanted to make sure I could get it to work before getting a scsi cord which is more expensive. How do I set this printer up / program it to get it printing more than just the test page from the w20. Is there any software I have to obtain or do I have to get the scsi cable because that's the only way it'll work? Thank you & have a good day.I have the Canon BJ W9000. I'm assuming this is on a network printer.
1- try resetting the machine ( did not specify the model or make)
2- does it have the correct IP and gateway
3- try restting the PC and port
