I had the same problem this morning (E01 error message). I unplugged the crock pot and held the "cook" button while I plugged it in. It reset and all is working fine now.
How do you set the timmer on the crockpot , i put it on cook, is that good enough,i didn,t get a book with this pot, please help.

When I plug it in and try to turn it on E01 comes up and won't let me set it at all. It is almost new and I am aggravated.
Just tried using it for the very first time and this happened. I have it all loaded up with the food ready to go and it won't work at all!!!!

I have the same problem. I used it twice and now it won't work at all. It just gives me the E01 message.
I plug in my crock pot and it beeps and it acts like its doesn't want work.
