Black screen I inherited an old computer and had to get a monitor for it. The monitor didn't work well with it, so the guy told me to disable the display adaptor. Why I don't know. So now when I turn the computer on, I get a black screen. So obviously I can't even see where I am going to re-enable. I tried the voice narrator and am getting no where. Is there a solution to this problem???

I did try enabling the VGA from f8 and it did not work. Oddly enough I plugged the monitor into another PC and was able to get a "picture" and was able to do a rollback to before the date I messed it up. Now I am back at square one. The monitor has very low resolution and I am unable to change it. I think the monitor is not compatible with the computer.
