Have you removed the tabs on the Carts?
Looks like you have done everything right then -my kinda blonde
It OK I've got three like that[wife and 2 daughters] - I know my place.
Now to the problem
This may sound daft but try it.
Take the carts out and replace them firmly.
Remove the software[Yes I know you have done it before]
Now just for the excerise do this
Come off line
Disable the Anitvirus software[did you do this when installing before - you should have]
go to Start/Printers and Faxes click on Add a printer.
Forget the software disk and simply follow the prompts to select from a list
When you get there select the make Canon and then scroll down for the model MP360[or if not there any in the MP series]
See whar happens.
BY the way is this a new PC like Vista?
There are know driver problems with Vista in which case refer to Canon support.

Yes I have removed tabs, I may be blonde, but not that blonde! Thanks for the solution though
That might be helpful, Theres one more possible solution before trying that. I asked Cartridge World if they had any ideas and they thought the print head might be blocked. They said they will have a go at sorting it without charging for labour, so fingers crossed. If that fails I'll try your suggestion. Many thanks.
