I have a Magnavox 15MF400T/37 Series LCD TV and I am trying to program my Comcast universal remote to it. Howver, none of the codes are working. The same thing happened with the Dish remote I used to have. It could not find a code. Has anyone found a code to work with these remotes yet? Specifically the Comcast remote.
I just programmed my comcast remote today and the codes in the manual work fine. I was lucky, the first one as the one I needed. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my Magnabox TV, I tried programing a universal remote and it wouldn't work; I took the tv to a tv repair place and they said that the problem is not the remote control but the sensor on the TV and also the main board for the TV not accepting signal from any remote control.

I was with DIRECTV and I had problems too, with not being able to find a codes for my remote. I called DIRECTV, only to find out that model TV I had, was too new and they didn't have a code for it, because of this. If your TV is brand new, it could be the Comcast hasn't gotten a code for your particular model. So, best thing to do is to call them and find out.

I'm trying to program my Verizon Fios Universal TV Remote to my Magnavox 15MF400T/37. I've tried all the codes on the list provided by Verizon Fios for Magnavox and for Phillips Magnavox. FIOS technical support also walked me through a procedure to search for the code where it supposedly checks about 300+ codes. Still no solution.
Have not been able to find a universal control code that work.
I have the same problem. Spoke with Direct TV and Magnavox with no success. Please post if anyone ever finds out. Thanks!
