All of a sudden the machine does not communicate with the PC anymore.
Everything worked perfectly, I did not do any embroidery for a few
month and now it does not work anymore. My dealer from Switzerland sent
me a new cable, but the problem remained. The display of the machine
changes non stop between the ordinary stitches and PC - machine without
ever showing the
line between the two. Using the PC designer program I just get the message
"no connection with the machine". Strangely enough the machine on its
own works perfectly so does the PC. I tried out a lot of things to get
it two work, like reinstalling the PC-designer, trying out all the
ports, nothing helps. I live in Greece and here I cannot get any
support at all. I hope you can help me.

i agree with AvioriX, have you already checked in the device manager for any signs?
if there are still no signs on how to fix the problem, i can say that the problem isnt with the computer itself but the sewing machine itslef. since you mention that you notice that it was "communicating" for a second then it dissappears. have you tried using the machine in another computer? this is the only way we will know if the machine will work in another pc.
since you say that your pc is fine, can you please tell us the specs of your computer because this will help us fix your problem as much as we can.
Tell pc desnigher program were u want the out put file to go maby it defulted after removing it to sumthing else

Issue can be related to driver. You can retain the PC Designer program. However you can reinstall the driver. You can go to Control Panel click on the system Icon then click on the hardware and device manager, Check is there any exclamation (!) or question (?) mark on any devices. try to locate Machine's driver and uninstall then reinstall. Please post for further assistance. Please indicate outcome of your diagnostic.

Hi if you have uninstalled the software completely then reinstalled it then the chances are that the creative unit has got a software problem this is something you cant do yourself as you will need special equipment and software to do this.
Have you tried completely removing the software then reinstall from scratch also try resetting the unit by holding down the on off button for about 10 sec if this still dont solve your problem then it is somethig that needs sending off to be repaired as you cant get the software to install back on your unit.
the problem wont be with the lead as you have repalced this.
The only other problem you vould have is if something is jammed inside it.
Have you also tried using the add new hardware function on your computer to see if the computer is picking up the device.
Go into control panel then select add new hardware now let the comp search itself for the device when its finished scroll down the list and see if its listed if it is then you know the leads and ports are ok then select have disk insert disk and select ok this will install the correct software for the device that the comp has scanned for let me know what happens after doing this ok

Unfortunately nothing helped so far, could it be that something with the electronic of the machine went wrong. Sometimes I get for just a moment the sign that the machine communicates with the PC then it disappears again, the display of the machine changes all the time between the normal stitching program and the communication with the PC. It looks like having a bad contact somewhere. It's really a mystery as just a few months ago every thing worked perfectly. I did not do any embroidery for a while and this problem appeared all of a sudden.
