I was playing with the buttons on my monitor and lost the picture which by the way is very good, and now I can't get it back. How do I go about resetting the monitor? I tried following the directions, but nothing worked. Thanks. It is a GX5204 wireless handheld color pinhole. Ed

Initially, a couple of checks:

• does the monitor powers on;
• have you tried removing / checking / replacing the batteries;
• alternately have you tried running the monitor with the wall adapter;
• in some instances, it may require that the power / battery be left out of the unit for a few minutes. The idea is to discharge the electronics;
• does the soft white backlight flickers on when powering the unit;
• have you tried pressing on the MANUAL button a couple of times to cycle through the inputs.
