The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Canon pixma all in one mp500 error code 6A00

6A00 is a problem with the sheet feed unit.
Manually move the print head left and right, and turn the printer on/off. I would also inspect the rollers for ANY debris... it can often be fixed by using "canned air" and blowing the interior out completely.

Canon pixma mp800 error code 6A00

6A00 means you need a new purge assembly. That's the unit that cleans the printhead. Part number is QM2-3032-000 around $30.00 but a shop should install it.

How do I solve error message 6A00 on canon printer?

Turn switched it off, open the lid and manually slid the cartridge-tray to the left. Use a piece of tissue to clean the base-pad where the heads are stored. It turned out to be stuck in a kind of upward position and somehow the mechanism that moves the tray is released so nothing happens when you switch on the printer.

Touching it snapped it loose. Remove all ink residue, move the tray back to its most right position and close everything.

Please let me know.
