How do I open the filter on a hotpoint aquarius WF 321 1200 spin washing machine?

Pul off complete bottom panel under door, filter is on the bottom r/h/s turn anticlockwise, i had to use a large pliers to open mine as it was very stiff due to about 3 euro in coins inside filter as well as other gunk closed and opened filter by hand no problem after cleaning

There should be a hatch on the front at the bottom right hand corner! open the hatch and you should see something that looks like a dial turn this anti clockwise. if it does not turn you will have to apply pressure. this could possibly break the componant! don't worry this often happens they are easily replaced from your local domestic appliance repair centre
