A/C GE AEW10AM decrease temperature but increase humidity (?!)

1) All my A/C-s GE AGT05LAG1 (5200 BTU, EER 9.7) decrease humidity and decrease temperature. In this room with A/C I have paper for books and low humidity is very useful for me. In the same room I use one dehumidifier.
2) Recently I bought A/C GE AEW10AM (10500 BTU, EER 10.8) and I was surprise. This A/C decrease temperature but increase humidity (?!)
3) Please could you recommend what I have to do in order to decrease humidity and temperature with the same A/C at the same time.
