Hello,
Please inform me if there is any source you are aware of for parts for "Everstar" brand undercounter ice makers. I am trying to repair one for a friend and am having difficulty finding parts.
Thanks very much
Mike
I have the Everstar HDIM35B and have replaced the water pump within the last 4 months and it was working like a charm, but after a recent storm, it stopped making ice. When I shut it off and turn it back on, it will only make about 3 batches of ice before it stops making ice. It will continue to go through the proper cycles, but for some reason the water never kicks back on when the ice making cycle starts. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Bob (rgrbic@comcast.net)
The Everstar Undercounter Ice Maker was sold by The Home Depot for awhile. That is were I got mine. I have ordered parts for the maker from the Home Depot Parts Department. My unit is the Everstar HDIM35A. Franklin Industries also made the same unit. It is a Franklin Chef FIM35. Sears has parts for that one and it seems to be the same unit. I found that The Home Depot parts department seems to be the most economical place to get the parts. I have manuals for both the Franklin and the Everstar if you need a copy.

My icemaker quit and no one would repair it. I got a friend to study it and fixed itl The problem was with a capacitor on the compressor...he could not get the exact part(it was made in france), he found a similar part and hardwired it to make it work. email for details
Try checking out Haier for parts.
