When I turn on Brother HL-2140 printer the light "Error" flashes. I tried to open the paper feeding plate, the door from behind of the printer, I don't see any remains of the paper there. What could be the reason and how could I solve it? Thanks,

Reset printer by removing toner tray and drum, then while printer power is turned off hold down power button andkeep it held down while you flip side power button on. Then after a few seconds release the top power button and reinstall toner tray. It should print out a couple of test pages and then be fine.
Try to unplug the power from the print, wait 1 minute then plug back in.
This may remove the error.
