Vivotek IP8161P fixed camera "Because of the connection problem of network environment, transmission protocol changes to HTTP" I cannot get any video from the camera when i connect directly to the camera Appreciate any advice
It sounds like it is saying it can't connect to your home network so wants you to connect via a browser.

Vivotek Support in the link has some answers, or phone them. The camera needs registering to your home network presumably by IP Address.
