When you got this error were you running the installation wizard disc for AT&T?
Because as far as my knowledge with AT&T (Bellsouth) this error code comes out when installing the modem using the Installation Wizard CD, this comes out on a version 3 cd. The error code means
"Failed to Upload to ISP" this possibly could mean that you are not connected to the internet.

Where do i put my activation code

You have to connect to your 2Wire box through a web browser (gateway.2wire.net) And once you're inside the configuration page of the 2Wire, you should see the "key code page" to enter your activation key code.

Compaq Laptop Windows 7 Acess Point Problem att 2wire

use wired Ethernet, so it works. easy.
wifi is far more complex.
best is to own the router, you have.
then login to it and set it up for wpa./wpa2
wep off.
and a nice password for wifi so others cant hack it. in the hood.
then use those credentials all all your toys. xbox, PCs and cell.
that is the best way
the access point is covered in you manual for the router
there is AP button there, you push.
the PC in question my guess is the drivers are no good.
missing wrong, or corrupted.
no PC full model stated.
no OS stated
no router stated.
so answers will be weak to wrong,.

f you don't know the system password for the twowire it has a factory reset button near the lan ports

* Hold down the reset button on the back for 30+ seconds.

2wire problem with ipod touch

So what you're saying is that you don't know what your password is? If so, look at your wireless router, the code may be located at the bottom of the router, perhaps underneath. If not, contact your wireless administrator. Good Luck, karenmaynn

Wireless connection to the 2 Wire modem

Hi

Most of the 2wire gateways have the WEP key or the encryption code on the bottom of it. It would a 10 digit Number of a Five Character one within square brackets.
Other wise you can go to the gateway page by accessing http://192.168.1.1 on another system which is already going online using the gateway or wired to it and in the gateway page under wireless you would find the WEP key incase the default key on the bottom of the 2wire does not work.

Do reply incase this has resolved your issue or you need more help.

Thank you

Psp internet doesn't work.

Try power cycling (turning everything off for about a minute) and connecting again.
