Lubrication point? Each front wheel has a lubrication zerk on the wheel hub. They may be broken off or have fallen out. Carefully examine the wheel hub for a zerk nipple or a small hole (maybe 3/16 inch) where the zerk should be.
Contact Breaker Points? They make the spark when they open by sending that signal to the ignition coil which sends the high tension charge to the spark plug..
