I want to disable the tones on my microwave which is a Kitechenaid Superba Microwave/oven combo, KEMC308KSS03. I cannot find anything in the manual on this. It is very annoying - it continues to beep after food is done, until you open the door or clear it. Or if you take food out early, it will then beep and continues to. So annoying! Thanks.
Try to unplug it,wait for 15 seconds and then turn it on to heat something. If that doesn't work then defrost something for 3 minutes. I still would recommend you buy a new one that have 5 stars ratings by customers.
I'm not familiar with that particular model, but with many of their models (and many other manufacturer models as well), unfortunately the beep cannot be turned off.
