was just making certain. I keep thinking stuck choke...
its a 2 stroke with efi ..could be a bad tether switch, throttle safety switch??

It sounds like you have an electrical component shorting out. Water can conduct electricity and cause electrical components to act funny. Look for exposed wires, check for loose or faulty electrical connectors contaminated by water. also check electrical components like your ignition coils, spark plug caps, and relays for damage or faulty seals. You may be able to isolate the problem by spraying the garden hose in specific locations and see if you can duplicate the symptoms. If still no luck, your local ATV dealer may provide advanced component testing with speacial diagnostic tools.

did you figure out the problem because mine just did the same thing.

Take the carburetor apart and clean/ inspect it. It is possible that the slow jet was not put in securely, and dropped into the bowl. just reinstall it. You could have a choke plunger that is sticking open.
