Maintenance came to replace outlets. Computer was on when I left home. Now the monitor will not come on. The power button on the front just blinks really fast. What do you suggest?
Try to check the RAM card of your CPU. It might need some reseating or cleaning. Use soft eraser to do that but disconnect power first to the unit before doing this.
Or check the chord or the video cable of your monitor, might it is not connected to the CPU.
Reboot windows, the maint team must have moved the equipment, check the computer/monitor connection and reseat it.

Rebooted several times. The computer is pulling into an outlet that did not have to be changed however, the power had to turned off. I unplugged the power cord from the computer and monitor. The computer is off but I plugged the monitor back up. The light from the power button is still blinking at a fast pace. Pushing the power button does not interrupt the blinking.
How do you do this if the monitor is not on?
Yes.
The computer is powering on. The monitor is not.
