Brightness issue What I have: Two pc's,(XPro&Ubuntu), two Acer Al1916 19" monitors, What I did: turned pc's on - then turned on monitors from wall power switch, one monitor is now >50% dimmer then the other. Have reset it multiple times and also swapped the monitors from one pc to the other. It's definitely the monitor that's dim and not a pc setting. Is there some way to reset the monitor to default settings other then the menu option reset?
Thanks, did try that but no change. Eventually called Acer and they shipped it and repaired it. Took about 2 weeks over Xmas which I thought was pretty good, got my monitor back and working now for no cost as still under 2 year warranty.
