MacBook Pro doesn't recognize certain discs? :/

I have the same problem also, my MacBook Pro only reads certain disc's DVD or CD? Disc that are perfectly fine it tell's me they are blank? Is there a fix for the problem? Is it just an issue with these machines?, I don't have this problem same disc loaded into my G5, G4 ibook or Mac mini?
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Please excuse me for my bad english.

I spent several hours scratching my head trying stupid and complex solutions like reseting p-ram, re-flashing the unit, etc.

The final solution...

Buy a compressed air can (for electronics cleanning).
Please turn off your MacBook pro
Purge the humidity by pushing a little the trigger. Wait some seconds until it just blows dry and cold air.
Blow air from the tray entering and towards the back of the unit.
Enjoy your movies!
