I replaced the batteries and now when I set the code only the first number beeps and i cannot put in the rest of the numbers. What do I do.

You might have to reset the lock and do a complete reprograming of your master security code and any other code(s) you want to use.
While normally, the master code and other programmed codes shouldn't have to be reset, it's possible that the reset button was inadvertantly pushed, so you'll have to reset the lockset
I would remove the batteries and clean off the lock's battery terminals with some rubbing alcohol to get them clean, just in case there is a film on them. Then reinsert the new, fresh batteries and reset the lock.
Program in your master code, you can use the same one as before if you wish, and then program in another one, again, if you wish.
Here's a copy of the user manual so you can verify that the reset and programming steps to enter your are done properly and that the lock is set up correctly.
