I am using nokia 2630, for sometime it was working perfectly but when i open the phone to change the sim card and start up the phone its displays "contact service" i put back the old sim but it isn't working now. what will be the problem with my phone.
This is a firmware issue. U can try reinstalling the phone software from a mobile service shop. If it doesnt work, then you will need to service your mobile.
If you are on Cingular/AT&T, you can go to aT&T's website to fill out a form and get the SIM unlock code for yourself. I dont know about the other carriers. Remember some carriers may NOT use SIM cards.
It simply means you should contact your service provider (i.e 02, Tmobile, Virgin, Orange etc.)
